I hope you'll be patient with me. My husband was unemployed for a long time and recently got a new job. We moved back to our favorite state (KS) and are trying to sell the house we bought just two years ago. I love God and I'm married to the most romantic man - my real life hero. Being his wife and homeschooling have always been big parts of who I am. Now both my boys are grown and I'm adjusting. I have an obsession with books and often have three or more going at a time all over the house. I'm also a writer working on a romantic suspense novel and a non-fiction book at the same time (lots of other project ideas are scribbled in my notebooks). I used to be in the Army & very healthy. Now I have a grocery list of minor health problems (fibro, migraines, asthma, insomnia, IBS ...) that have helped me to be more compassionate towards others with chronic conditions. I'm a HUGE animal lover. We currently have 9 rescue cats that keep me very busy. I also enjoy making jewelry. All these things (and many others) make up who I am. I tend to share whatever has captured my heart or attention for the moment. I hope you'll join me on my journey through the fog.
On average, most of the books I review are those I have purchased for my personal use. I rarely do a review on those I dislike. Publishers sometimes require me to review even those I don't like to explain why. I also win books in contests or borrow them every now and then. Every review I do is honest and is in no way influenced by who provides the book. I am not paid nor expected to provide positive reviews in exchange for the books I am given.
